All aspects of the Business Administration and Business Technology programs are conducted in a realistic professional office setting. When students walk through the classroom door they enter into the world of business with the instructor, Mrs. Stephanie Lyons, serving as Office Manager.
While some of the subject matter is presented to the class as a whole, most of the program is presented as diversified one-on-one independent studies.
As in an actual office, business is conducted professionally in an atmosphere of mutual respect and courtesy. Of course there are ample opportunities to have fun as well!
Upon completion of the Business Administration and Business Technology courses of study, graduates are able to walk comfortably into the real world of business armed with the knowledge and tools of the trade necessary for a successful career.
Students who choose to continue on to a post secondary education in business do so with a firm foundation of knowledge and skills acquired giving them a head start in college.
Students who choose to continue their education in fields other than business, do so with a strong working knowledge of the software programs necessary in today's world. Students from the Business Administration and Business Technology program have gone on to "test out" of required courses which teach use of the Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
